I would like to meet and get to know all of you.  I would also like not to fill this whole page with "all about me," but it can't be helped. 

      I graduated from Corcoran High School and received an Associate's Degree from OCC majoring in RTV and Communications.  I worked for Love 105 Christian Radio Station (early 80's) starting as an announcer, adding office manager and sales to my duties.  I wrote, produced, and aired a children's program called "Little Beginnings."  Great for the ego, no benefits and bad for the purse.  Moving on, I worked real-estate, contracts and all, but the hours were bad for a mom of two small boys.  I took and passed a civil service test, interviewed, and was hired as the first female foremen for the City of Syracuse in 1992.  "They told me they had to hire a female.  Thank you Jesus."  Working first for the Dept. of Aviation,  I trained all new hires, developed the employees orientation book, ordered stock,  did scheduling and payroll along with supervising  8 - 14 laborers.  Transferring to the Parks Dept., my crew and I delivered and set up tables, chairs, bleachers and anything required for special events throughout Syracuse.  Also we cleaned up assigned parks.  I then transferred to D.P.W.   My job oversaw the dispatchers, payroll and the city cleanup crew. I left the city job after eighteen years of service.

     During this time my church involvement included the positions of Secretary, treasurer, board of trustees and teacher. 

     I am the co-owner of six rental properties with 16 units., five are located on Syracuse's south side. Every unit has been remodeled and meet both codes and Section 8 inspections.  One of these properties I acquired as a board up, hiring and overseeing the restoration of this two family house.  This included, new wiring and plumbing, adding new furnaces and hot water heaters, gutting a room that had a fire, remodeling both kitchens and bathrooms, jacking and repairing the front porch and installing new windows and doors.  I also had to have the front yard dug up to replace the sewer and water lines.
